Starting a New Tour
- Navigate to Assets from the sidebar.
- Click the Tours tab.
- Click the ”+ New Tour” button.
Tour Information
Tour Name (Required)
Enter the name of your tour. This is the headline fans see on your tour smart link page. Examples:- “The Midnight Highway Tour”
- “Summer 2026 North American Tour”
- “Homecoming — A Nashville Residency”
Tour Description
Write a description for your tour. This appears on your tour smart link page below the tour name. Use it to set the vibe, share what fans can expect, or provide important details. Example:“Two months, twenty cities, one unforgettable summer. From coast to coast, we are bringing the energy of the new album to a stage near you. VIP packages available for every show.”The description field supports merge tags — click the merge tags icon to insert dynamic content like your artist name, upcoming dates, or ticket links.
Tour Poster/Graphic
Upload your tour poster or promotional graphic:- Click the upload area or drag and drop an image file.
- Your poster appears on the tour smart link page as the hero image.
- Use high-resolution images (at least 1200px wide).
- Include tour dates on the poster if you have a designed graphic — but know that Fanaura also displays dates dynamically below the poster.
- Portrait-oriented posters (taller than wide) tend to look best on mobile.
Admission Type
Choose whether your tour is Paid or Free:- Paid: Tour dates include ticket prices, ticket links, and purchase buttons. This is the most common setting for ticketed concerts.
- Free: Tour dates do not show pricing. RSVP buttons replace ticket purchase buttons. Great for free shows, showcase events, festival sets, or community events.
Key Dates
Tours in Fanaura have three important dates that control the lifecycle and visibility of your tour page:Announcement Date
The date and time you plan to publicly announce the tour. Before this date, the tour page may not be visible to fans (depending on your visibility settings). Set both the date and time, and choose a timezone. Example: You might announce the tour on April 1 at 10:00 AM EST with a social media post that includes your tour smart link.Pre-Sale Date
The date and time pre-sale tickets go on sale. This is relevant if you are running a pre-sale (fan club, VIP, or early access ticketing). Set the start date and time, end date and time, and the timezone for pre-sale.On-Sale Date
The date and time general admission tickets go on sale to the public. This is when “Buy Tickets” buttons become active on your tour page. Set the date, time, and timezone.Tip: A common pattern is: Announce on Monday, pre-sale on Wednesday, general on-sale on Friday. This builds momentum through the week.
Pre-Sale Configuration
If you are running a pre-sale, expand the Pre-Sale Settings section:Enable Pre-Sale
Toggle this on to activate pre-sale functionality for your tour.Pre-Sale Link
Enter the URL where fans can purchase pre-sale tickets. This could be a Ticketmaster pre-sale page, an AXS link, or any ticketing platform URL.Pre-Sale Code
Enter the pre-sale code fans need to unlock pre-sale tickets. Common formats:- Fan club codes: “FANCLUBVIP”
- Artist name codes: “MIDNIGHT2026”
- Simple codes: “PRESALE”
Pre-Sale Button Label
Customize what the pre-sale button says on your tour page. The default is “RSVP” but you can change it to anything:- “Get Pre-Sale Tickets”
- “Fan Club Access”
- “Early Access”
- “RSVP for Pre-Sale”
On-Sale Button Label
Customize what the general on-sale button says. The default is “Buy Tickets” but you can change it to:- “Get Tickets”
- “Purchase Tickets”
- “Reserve Your Spot”
Visibility Settings
Control when your tour page becomes visible to the public:Visibility Date Type
Choose which date controls when your tour page goes live:- Announcement Date: The tour page becomes visible when your announcement date arrives. This is the most common choice — your announcement post and your live tour page go up at the same time.
- Pre-Sale Date: The tour page becomes visible when pre-sale starts. Use this if you want to keep the page hidden until tickets are actually available.
- On-Sale Date: The tour page becomes visible when general tickets go on sale.
Same as Announcement
If your announcement and pre-sale happen at the same time, check the “Same as Announcement” box to sync the dates automatically.Adding Events
