The Trial Countdown Banner

Fanaura shows a trial banner at the top of the sidebar to keep you informed about how much time you have left. The banner changes color and urgency as your trial progresses.
Days RemainingBanner ColorMessage
30-8 daysSubtle/default”X days left in your free trial”
7-4 daysAmber/yellow”Only X days left in your free trial” with a link to subscribe
3-1 daysRed/urgent”Your trial expires in X days” with a prominent subscribe button
0 days (expired)Red/blocked”Your trial has expired” with a subscribe button
The banner includes a countdown that updates daily. It shows the exact number of days remaining based on when your account was created.

Can I Dismiss the Banner?

The banner stays visible throughout your trial as a gentle reminder. It does not block any functionality until your trial actually expires.

What Happens When Your Trial Expires

When the 30-day trial ends and you have not subscribed:

What Gets Locked

  • Dashboard — you can no longer access the main dashboard
  • Assets — you cannot create or edit assets
  • Launches — you cannot create or manage campaigns
  • Fans — you cannot access your fan database or conversations
  • Messages — you cannot send blasts
  • FanauraAI — the AI assistant is unavailable
  • Integrations — integrations remain connected but stop processing new data

What Still Works

  • Settings — you can still access Settings so you can subscribe
  • Billing — the billing tab remains accessible so you can choose a plan and add a payment method
  • Login — you can still log into your account

Your Data Is Safe

Your fan data, assets, launches, and campaign history are not deleted when your trial expires. Everything is preserved exactly as you left it. Once you subscribe, you pick up right where you left off with all your data intact.
Important: Fanaura does not delete your data after trial expiration. Your fan database, campaign history, and all configurations are retained. You will not lose anything by taking a few extra days to decide.

  • Legal first and last name — required for billing
  • Business name — the name under which you operate
  • Billing address — street, city, state, postal code, country
If any of these fields are missing, you will see a notice on the billing page telling you which fields need to be completed. Click the link to go to the Account tab and fill them in, then return to Billing.

Trial Period FAQ

Can I extend my trial?

Contact Fanaura support if you need more time. Extensions are granted on a case-by-case basis.

Does my trial start when I sign up or when I first use the platform?

Your trial starts the moment your account is created (the created_at timestamp on your artist record). It runs for exactly 30 days regardless of usage.

Can I downgrade or cancel after subscribing?

Yes. You can change your plan or cancel at any time from Settings > Billing. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Do I lose my data if I cancel after the trial?

No. Your data is preserved. If you re-subscribe later, everything will be right where you left it.

What if I invited team members during the trial?

Team member seats are free during the trial period. Once you subscribe, team seats are billed at $10/month per member. You can remove team members before subscribing if you want to reduce costs.

Can I use Fanaura for free forever?

Not currently. Fanaura offers a generous 30-day trial, but a subscription is required for continued access after the trial period. The platform requires ongoing infrastructure costs for real-time data processing, SMS delivery, AI features, and storage.
