Which Plan Is Right for You?
Basic ($29/month) — Perfect for independent artists who are just getting started. You get 4 assets and 4 launches per month, which covers a typical release cycle. The 1,000 email and 100 SMS limit works well for smaller fan bases. Pro ($197/month) — The sweet spot for full-time artists and managers. Unlimited assets and launches mean you never hit a wall. 10,000 emails and 1,000 SMS handle most mid-size campaigns. Three team seats are included, and you get unlimited AI access for smart suggestions across your entire workflow. Complete ($1,000/month) — Built for established artists, labels, and agencies. 100,000 emails and 10,000 SMS support large-scale campaigns. Ten team seats cover your entire operation. Data export lets you take your fan data wherever you need it. A personal consultant helps you get the most out of every feature.Overage Pricing
If you exceed your monthly email or SMS allowance, Fanaura does not cut you off. Instead, overage charges apply:| Resource | Overage Rate | Per Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Extra Emails | $1 per 1,000 emails | $0.001 per email |
| Extra SMS | $10 per 1,000 texts | $0.01 per text |
Tip: If you consistently exceed your plan limits by a significant margin, upgrading is usually cheaper than paying overages. For example, if you are on Basic and regularly sending 5,000 emails, the $4/month in overages is reasonable — but if you are sending 8,000+, upgrading to Pro makes more financial sense.
Usage Tracking
The Billing page shows your current month’s usage with clear visual indicators:Email Usage
- A progress bar showing how many emails you have sent vs. your monthly limit.
- The exact count: “3,247 / 10,000 emails used”

SMS Usage

- The exact count: “89 / 1,000 SMS used”
- A percentage: “9% used”
- Green: Under 50% used. You are well within your limits.
- Yellow: 50-80% used. Keep an eye on it.
- Orange: 80-100% used. You are close to overage territory.

Billing FAQ
Q: What happens if my payment fails? A: Stripe will retry the charge a few times over several days. You will receive email notifications about the failed payment. Your account remains active during the retry period. If payment is not resolved, your account will be paused (not deleted). Q: Can I pay annually? A: Annual billing is available for Pro and Complete plans. Contact support for annual pricing, which typically includes a discount. Q: Are there refunds? A: Fanaura offers prorated refunds within the first 14 days of a new subscription or upgrade. After that, cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle. Q: Do team seats prorate? A: Yes. If you add a team member mid-cycle, you are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your billing period.Best Practices
- Check usage weekly: A quick glance at your email and SMS bars helps you avoid surprise overage charges.
- Upgrade before a big campaign: If you are planning a large email blast or SMS campaign, check your remaining allowance first. Upgrading before the campaign is often cheaper than overages.
- Keep payment info current: An expired card can interrupt your service at the worst possible time — like right before a release day.
- Download invoices: Keep your invoices for tax purposes, especially if music is your business.
