MasterTour is the industry-standard tour management platform used by artists, managers, and booking agents to organize tour schedules, venue details, travel logistics, and budgets. Fanaura’s MasterTour integration will bring your touring data directly into your fan engagement workflow.

The MasterTour integration is currently in development and is not yet available for use. On the Integrations page, you will see MasterTour displayed with a “Coming Soon” badge. The card is greyed out and cannot be clicked to initiate a connection. We are actively building this integration and will announce its availability through in-app notifications and email updates.

What This Integration Will Do

When MasterTour becomes available, connecting it to Fanaura will enable:

Tour Date Syncing

  • Your tour dates from MasterTour will automatically appear in Fanaura.
  • No more manually entering show dates, venues, and cities.
  • When dates change in MasterTour (reschedules, cancellations, additions), Fanaura updates automatically.

Venue Data

  • Venue names, addresses, and capacities pulled from MasterTour.
  • This data feeds into your tour assets and smart links.
  • Fans see accurate venue information when they RSVP through Fanaura.

Booking Information

  • Booking status for each date (confirmed, pending, cancelled).
  • This helps you decide which dates to promote and when.
  • Only promote confirmed dates to fans, while keeping pending dates visible to your team.
  • New tour dates synced from MasterTour can automatically generate Fanaura smart links.
  • Fans discover your shows through data-collecting landing pages.
  • RSVPs and fan data are captured automatically for each date.

Fan Location Intelligence

  • When fans RSVP for shows synced from MasterTour, Fanaura maps their locations.
  • Combined with fan heatmap data, you and your booking agent can identify where demand exists for future tour routing.

Planned Setup Process

When the integration becomes available, the setup will require:
  1. MasterTour API Key: Generated in your MasterTour account settings.
  2. MasterTour API Secret: Paired with your API key for secure authentication.
  3. Configuration: Select which tours/dates to sync and how often to refresh data.

Step-by-Step (Planned)

  1. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the MasterTour card (no longer greyed out).
  3. Click Connect MasterTour.
  4. Enter your API Key and API Secret.
  5. Fanaura validates the credentials against MasterTour’s API.
  6. Select the tour(s) you want to sync.
  7. Click Connect.
  8. Tour dates begin syncing immediately.

Today (Without MasterTour Integration)

  1. You manually create tour assets in Fanaura for each show.
  2. You enter venue name, city, date, and ticket link by hand.
  3. When dates change, you update Fanaura manually.
  4. If you have 50 tour dates, that is 50 manual entries.

  1. Your booking agent adds dates in MasterTour.
  2. Dates automatically appear in Fanaura.

  6. Zero manual data entry.

Preparing for the Integration

While MasterTour is still in the “Coming Soon” phase, here is what you can do now:
  1. Ensure you have a MasterTour account: If your team uses a different tour management tool, let us know — we are always evaluating additional integrations.
  2. Keep your tour data current in MasterTour: When the integration launches, the sync will pull your latest data. The cleaner your MasterTour data, the better the sync.
  3. Set up tour assets manually in Fanaura for now: You can still create tour dates, generate smart links, and collect RSVPs. When MasterTour connects, your manual entries can be updated to link with synced data.
  4. Collect fan location data: Start running RSVP campaigns now. The fan location intelligence from Fanaura is valuable whether or not MasterTour is connected.

Stay Updated

When the MasterTour integration is ready:
  • You will receive an in-app notification.
  • An email announcement will go out to all users.
  • This documentation page will be updated with the full setup guide and troubleshooting.

What Happens Next

For now, continue creating tour assets manually in Fanaura. The manual workflow is fully functional and your fan data, RSVPs, and smart links work exactly the same. When MasterTour integration launches, it will simply automate the data entry step, saving you time while keeping everything else you have built intact.
