Getting started with Fanaura takes about two minutes. Here is everything you need to know about the signup process.

Before You Begin

You will need:
  • A valid email address (use the artist’s private email, not a public-facing one)
  • A phone number
  • A password you will remember (or a password manager)

Step 1: Go to the Signup Page

Navigate to fanaura.com/signup. You will see the Fanaura logo and the account creation form. If you already have an account, click the “Sign in” link at the bottom of the form to go to the login page instead.

Step 2: Enter Your Information

The signup form collects the following:

Artist First Name and Last Name

Enter the artist’s legal first and last name. This is used for account verification and legal purposes — it is not the same as your stage name or display name. You will set your public artist/display name during onboarding. For example, if your stage name is “Luna Waves” but your legal name is “Sarah Johnson,” enter “Sarah” and “Johnson” here.

Artist Email

Enter the artist’s private email address. This is used for:
  • Logging into Fanaura
  • Account security and password resets
  • Important account notifications
A tooltip next to the field reminds you: “Use the artist’s private email, not a public-facing one. This is used for login and account security.”
Tip: Use an email you check regularly. This is where your verification code and account alerts will go.

Phone Number

Select your country code from the dropdown (defaults to US +1) and enter your phone number. The country code picker includes 28+ countries and has a search function so you can quickly find yours. Phone numbers are formatted automatically as you type (e.g., 555-123-4567).

Password

Create a strong password. Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Must include at least one uppercase letter
  • Must include at least one lowercase letter
  • Must include at least one number
  • Must include at least one special character (!@#$%^&*)
You can toggle password visibility using the eye icon next to the password field.

Confirm Password

Re-enter your password to make sure it matches. The show/hide toggle applies to both fields simultaneously.

Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Check the box to agree to Fanaura’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You cannot create your account without accepting these.

Step 3: Click “Create Account”

Once all fields are filled in and the terms box is checked, click the orange “Create Account” button. You will see a loading spinner while your account is being created.

Step 4: Verify Your Email

After your account is created, Fanaura sends a 6-digit verification code to the email you provided. You will be taken to the verification screen automatically.

On the Verification Screen

  1. Check your email inbox for a message from Fanaura.
  2. Find the 6-digit code in the email.
  3. Enter the code in the large input field on screen. The field accepts numbers only and auto-formats as you type.
  4. Click “Verify & Continue”.

Did Not Receive the Code?

  • Click the “Resend code” link below the verify button. A new code will be sent to your email.
  • Check your spam/junk folder — verification emails sometimes end up there.
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address. Click “Back to signup” if you need to fix it.

What Happens After Verification

Once your email is verified, you are automatically redirected to the Onboarding page, where you will connect your Spotify profile and set up your artist account.

Signing Up as a Team Member

If you are not the artist — if you are a manager, label representative, attorney, booking agent, publisher, or other team member — the flow is slightly different.
Note: The default signup flow creates an artist account. Team member signup is available for managers and other roles who are setting up an account on behalf of an artist.

Team Member Roles

When the “Who are you?” step is enabled, you can choose from:
  • Artist — I am the artist or band member
  • Manager — I manage artists
  • Label — I work at a record label
  • Marketing — I handle marketing/PR
  • Attorney — I provide legal services
  • Booking Agent — I book shows and tours
  • Publisher — I handle publishing
  • Business Manager — I manage finances

Team Member Flow

  1. Select your role (anything other than Artist).
  2. Enter your contact info (first name, last name, email, phone). This is your personal information, not the artist’s.
  3. Click “Continue to Artist Setup”.
  4. You will be taken to the onboarding page where you will create the artist’s account (their email, password, and Spotify connection).
This two-step process keeps your team member identity separate from the artist’s account while still letting you set everything up.

Already Have an Account?

Click the “Sign in” link at the bottom of the signup form to go to the login page. If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot password” link on the login page to reset it.

What Happens Next

After signup and email verification, you will be taken to the Onboarding flow. This is where you will:
  1. Connect your Spotify artist profile
  2. Verify your identity via Instagram DM
  3. See a welcome tour of Fanaura’s capabilities
  4. Land on your brand-new dashboard
Head to Onboarding to learn about the next steps.
