Merch in Fanaura works like your other assets: you add the item in Assets > Merch, Fanaura creates a smart link and fan-facing page, and fans click through to your store (Bandcamp, Big Cartel, your own site, or any HTTPS checkout URL you provide). Fanaura does not connect to e-commerce platforms via API. You manage product details in Fanaura and send buyers to the URL where you actually sell.

Before You Start

You will need:
  • A product title and featured image (upload or pick from your product page)
  • An https link where fans can buy the item (product page, cart link, or checkout URL)
  • An active Fanaura artist account

Add a Merch Item

1

Open Assets > Merch

From the sidebar, go to Assets and open the Merch tab.
2

Click Add Merch

Click + Add Merch (or Add product) to open the creation modal.
3

Enter product details

Fill in:
  • Title — shown on your smart link and artist hub
  • External product URL — must start with https:// (your live product or checkout link)
  • Description (optional)
  • Button text (optional, default: “Shop now”)
4

Add a product image

Either upload an image or paste your product URL and use Discover images to pick a photo from the public product page.
5

Set visibility

Choose whether the item appears on your public smart link / artist hub, then save.
After saving, Fanaura generates a merch smart link and adds the product to your Merch tab list.

External Product URL

The external URL is where fans go when they tap Shop now on your Fanaura page.
The URL must use HTTPS. Fanaura will not accept plain http links.
If you sell multiple variants (sizes/colors), link to the product page where fans choose variants, or create one Fanaura merch item per variant with a variant-specific URL.

Image Discovery from URL

When you paste a product URL on the merch detail page, Fanaura can scan the public page for images (Open Graph / page metadata) so you can pick artwork without re-uploading files.
  • Discovery is prefill only — always confirm title, image, and link before publishing.
  • Some storefronts block automated fetches; if discovery fails, upload an image manually.

What Fanaura Tracks

Fanaura does not automatically import orders from external stores. Use smart links and flows to capture fan interest and follow up with email or SMS.
