A live journey keeps working while you edit it. Fanaura saves your change to the draft, then republishes so the new version takes over. Your public link stays the same.
The assistant saves the change on the draft, then publishes it. fanaura.publish_journey runs only when user_confirmed is true, which records that you asked for the journey to go live. That tool is marked destructive, so your assistant may show its own approval card before it runs.

How an edit works

What you can change

Keyword

“Change the keyword on my guide journey to FREE.”

Destination

“Send my MUSIC journey to https://open.spotify.com/album/new instead.”

Public replies

“Rewrite the comment replies on BOOK so they sound warmer.”

Contact capture

“Ask for a phone number on my EPISODE journey.”

Followers only

“Let anyone get the GUIDE link, not only followers.”

Check before you change

“What does my BOOK journey send right now?”

Point to the right journey

The assistant finds a journey by its keyword, its name, or where it sends people. It calls fanaura.list_journeys with a search term, then fanaura.get_journey for the details.
Name the keyword when you have several journeys. “My BOOK journey” is clearer than “my latest journey.”

Things that stay in the Fanaura iPhone app

Some controls are not available from chat. Open the journey in the iPhone app, or ask the assistant for the link. Every journey result includes iphone_deep_link (fanaura://journeys/{id}) and web_builder_url.

If the edit does not go live

When republishing fails, the journey keeps running the version that was live before. The assistant names the field that blocked it. Read Build a journey step by step for every field and what it means.
