# Quickstart

> Connect Fanaura to your assistant and publish your first Instagram keyword in about two minutes.

This page gets you from zero to a live keyword. You need a Fanaura account. To publish, you also need a professional Instagram account connected in Fanaura and an active membership.

<Tip>
  Not sure Instagram is connected? After step 2, ask your assistant "Is my Instagram connected to Fanaura?" It calls `fanaura.setup_status` and tells you.
</Tip>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the Fanaura connector" icon="plug">
    <Tabs>
      <Tab title="Claude">
        Open **Settings**, then **Connectors**. Find **Fanaura** in the directory and click **Connect**. If you do not see it yet, click **Add custom connector** and paste:

        ```text theme={null}
        https://app.fanaura.com/mcp
        ```
      </Tab>

      <Tab title="ChatGPT">
        Open **Apps**, search for **Fanaura**, and click **Connect**.
      </Tab>

        Add the server to your MCP settings file. The [developer tools page](/mcp-server/connect/developer-tools) has a copy-ready block for each editor.

        ```json theme={null}
        {
          "mcpServers": {
            "fanaura": { "url": "https://app.fanaura.com/mcp" }
          }
        }
        ```
      </Tab>
    </Tabs>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in to Fanaura" icon="key-round">
    Your assistant opens the Fanaura sign-in page. Sign in with the email code or tap **Use password instead**. Fanaura shows which account you are signed in as. Tap **Allow access**.

    <Note>
      If the page shows the wrong account, tap **Use a different account** before you allow access.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Launch a keyword" icon="zap">
    Start a new chat and send one sentence with a link and a keyword:

    ```text theme={null}
    When someone comments GUIDE on my Instagram posts, DM them https://example.com/guide
    ```

    Fanaura builds the journey and publishes it in that same call. The assistant replies with the public link and a short recap of what Fanaura set: the name, the keyword, the triggers, the contact capture, and the public comment replies.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check who came in" icon="users">
    Once people comment, ask:

    ```text theme={null}
    Who tapped my latest journey link, and what did they share?
    ```
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What you should see

<Frame caption="A one-message launch returns the live link and a recap of everything Fanaura set automatically.">
  ```text theme={null}
  Your GUIDE journey is already live at fanaura.me/yourname/free-guide.
  Fanaura set this up for you:
  - Keyword: GUIDE, on Instagram comments and DMs
  - Destination: https://example.com/guide
  - Contact capture: automatic, one detail per visit (phone, then email, then name)
  - Public comment replies: 10 versions, such as "Sent it to your DMs"
  - People who comment again get the link again
  Tell me if you want to change anything.
  ```
</Frame>

## If it stays a draft

The assistant tells you why. A one-message launch stays a draft for these reasons:

| Reason | What to do |
| - | - |
| Instagram is not connected | Ask "Connect my Instagram." The assistant returns a secure link that works for 15 minutes. |
| The keyword is live on another journey | Pick a different keyword, or change the other journey first. |
| Your public name is not claimed | Open the Fanaura iPhone app and claim the name your audience will see. Then ask the assistant to publish. |
| Membership is not active | Open the Fanaura iPhone app to manage your membership. The connector never shows prices, upgrades, or store links. |
| Publishing failed for another reason | The journey is saved as a draft. The message says why. |
