# Account and privacy

> Privacy policy, terms, and account deletion on iPhone.

Open **Settings** → **Account and privacy**.

## Legal documents

Both screens show **Last updated** when the server provides a date.

## Delete account

| Step | What happens |
| - | - |
| Tap **Delete account** | Confirmation dialog explains the 30-day grace period |
| Confirm | Server queues deletion: journeys pause, Instagram deactivates, you receive email, app signs you out |
| Within 30 days | Sign in again to cancel deletion and restore paused journeys |
| After 30 days | Account and artist data purge runs on a scheduled job |

While deletion is pending, API access for normal use is blocked except delete and cancel paths.

## Push and local data

Sign out clears local SecureStore session and user cache. Delete account is stronger: it starts server-side teardown after grace expires.

## Other connections

WhatsApp and TikTok connect open outside the app when those channels are enabled. Account deletion started on iPhone applies to the same Fanaura account after the grace period.
