# Billing at Signup

> How Fanaura billing works when you create an account. Plan choice, first charge, messaging credits, and what happens if you cancel.

When you create a Fanaura account, you choose a plan and **subscribe immediately**. Billing starts at signup. There is no free trial and no free tier.

<Note>Cancel anytime from **Settings → Billing**. No long-term contract.</Note>

Both plans include the full platform: assets, launches, flows, blasts, fan database, smart links, pre-saves, heat maps, and integrations.

## Artist Basic intro offer (\$1 first week)

When the \$1 first-week offer is live on [fanaura.com/pricing](https://fanaura.com/pricing), Artist Basic signup works like this:

> $1 due today for 7 days of full Artist Basic access. Starting day 8, your card is billed $10/month unless you cancel.

| Days 1–7 | \$0 additional (full Basic access) |
| Day 8 and after | **\$10/month** on each renewal |

This is **not** a free trial. Your card is charged $1 at signup. Artist Pro is always billed at $47/month at signup with no intro week.

When the offer is not shown on the pricing page, Artist Basic is **\$10/month at signup**.

## What Happens During Signup

## What's Included From Day One

From your first login you can:

* Create music releases, tours, merch, and extras
* Build launches and Flow Builder automations
* Collect fans via pre-saves and smart links
* Send email and SMS (starter messaging credits included)
* Use **Aura Advisor** (Basic) or **Aura Manager** (Pro) in Aura Chat

## Messaging Credits

Each plan includes starter email and SMS credits each billing cycle. After credits are used:

* Email: **\$0.0009** per send
* SMS: **\$0.009** per text

You can always send to your entire fanbase. There is no hard send cap. See [Messaging & Usage](/pricing/usage).

## Upgrading Later

You can upgrade from Basic to Pro anytime in **Settings → Billing**. Pro adds:

* Aura Manager for goal-directed campaign work in Aura Chat
* Instagram DM automation flows (when connected)
* Team workspace access
* Higher starter messaging credits

Upgrades activate immediately with prorated billing.

## Canceling

If you cancel:

1. Access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
2. Your fan data, assets, and history are **preserved**.
3. After the period ends, the workspace becomes read-only until you resubscribe.

Cancel from **Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription**.

Multi-artist organizations should contact [fanaura.com/support](https://fanaura.com/support) for Enterprise pricing instead of self-serve signup.
